Going Down doesn't stray far from the Hollywood Cautionary Tale formula - but credit for making a downward spiral feel as gritty as a mid-afternoon trip to Pinkberry.

Can't figure out what this is supposed to be: a comedy, a tragedy, a social commentary... Once again a gay-themed movie is set in the seedy side of town and is splattered with dysfunctional characters getting their jollies from drugs or the porn industry. Dear film-makers, you may not have noticed, but society has moved on in the meantime rendering your contribution inferior.

Matthew Ludwinski was amazing, but writer/director Casper Andres' performance was the film's worst. The ADR was bad in some parts, though the film looked very polished.Overall all it was enjoyable, nothing amazing.

A young acting hopeful finds that things are tough in Tinseltown in this not exactly revelatory gay-themed drama.
