It's a film that works through guilelessness and cynicism.

Stranger things, no doubt, do happen. But ambitious, intelligent Eberl needed more mature storytelling skills to make Choose Connor seem plausible.

This movie is creepy beyond all belief. Steven Weber plays his role of a slimy politician very well, and the final monologue from Owen is very well written and performed. I'm extremely impressed that the film was directed by a 20 year old, although I think the cynicism for the entire system may be a bit much.

This overlong, obvious and indifferently acted melodrama was written and directed by Luke Eberl, a former child actor, before he turned 21.
