The plot doesn’t always make sense, but it doesn’t need to, so thoroughly does it convey a sense that everybody is in on something, and there is no escape.

A masterpiece of suspense, tension and cinematic storytelling the likes of which, sadly, Hollywood doesn't make anymore. The Parallax View is one of the great paranoid thrillers of the 1970s. Which, when you consider how paranoid America was post-Watergate, is high praise indeed.

The best conspiracy thriller ever made. It's chilly, dark, paranoia big time. Warren Beatty is at his best, the score is excellent, the cinematography is as times breathtaking and it probably has the best ending ever. A true classic.

Love it, Warren Beatty is the epitome of the paranoid (but right) little guy caught up in political intrigue and dirty goings on, but boy does he get it wrong. Brilliant photography and the denouement in the rafters of a hall at a political rally is just stunning.
