The only scary thing in the entire movie is actor Ian Hendry's resemblance to George W. Bush . . .

I much preferred this to 'Village'. It took the idea of the children to a more intriguing end as the first took a long time for the children to be born etc. Ian Hendry's preformance was excellent as the one man who doesn't want the children to be destroyed. Classic British sci-fi.

Not as good as the first, but it's not bad. The eeriness is a bit stale, and the plot is rather slow. The kids aren't as creepy, The characters are a bit average, and the ending is decent enough. Not as memorable.

The cinematography was good. It gave the film an art house' feel to it that makes it unique amongst 'evil child' films. Having said that, the movie's plot was not well done. Was I supposed to think that the children were the villains of the story? I honestly think the adults who wanted to experiment on them and kill them were more villainous. If the adults had any common sense, they'd leave the kids alone. But the kids were also psychotic too. They intimidated their caregivers and were rather creative with the way they 'dispached' the adults in the film. And what on Earth was that machine they built for? Taking over the world?!!??

A dull, pretentious successor to that marvelous little chiller of several seasons ago, "Village of the Damned." What a comedown.
