I can see the flaws in this movie, but they just don't bother me - I liked it very much. It shouldn't have been just thrown in the gutter like that. Personally I think Cate Blanchett deserved an Oscar nomination for this movie.

good film, good ending. lots of twists and turns.

A pretty good homage to the old classic noirs like Casablanca. Worth a watch.

Excellent in so many ways, although, effectively, just a go at making a 40s film noir by Soderbergh (it's called 'homage' these days...). If the ending lived up to the complexity of the plot and character-dynamics throughout the film, this would have been even better.

I wish I could have made movies in the 40s...
