The Good German (2006)

An American journalist arrives in Berlin just after the end of World War Two. He becomes involved in a murder mystery surrounding a dead GI who washes up at a lakeside mansion during the Potsdam negotiations between the Allied powers. Soon his investigation connects with his search for his married pre-war German lover.

An underrated homage to the great World War 2 noir films. It's more notable for the technical achievements, but nonetheless worth watching.

Beau Bridges is one underrated actor, though i need to see this again to be thorough with my comment, but i do remember that i like this movie and been a fan of beau than jeff

It's hard to feel for the characters' fate when you're counting the ways in which The Good German rips off Casablanca.
