The biggest problem with this film is the casting of Elvis Presley as a charater that is way out of his range as an actor. Charles Marquis Warren , the creator of the TV series "Gunsmoke" and "Rawhide", has written a tired western that has nothing new to say in it. After his performance in "Flaming Star", a film which Elvis was excellent in, I guess I expected more. No such luck.

Unusual for an Elvis movie. Elvis had facial hair, there were no songs (except for the title song), and he only kisses one girl, and just once. Really cool movie. Definitely a must-see for Elvis fans.

one of the best western i've seen!!! in this movie you can truly appreciate Elvis'acting, i dont mind he's not singing , in fact i really like it cause it's allowing you to see how talented as an actor he was!!

Not your typical Elvis flick, no singing and dancing at all, just a classic old time western movie. Elvis was very under-rated as an actor, he should have had more serious roles like this one.
