Just about one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. Just laugh yourself silly, down right good comedy.

More a polite titter than big laugh, Sturges' western epic farce is as lavish as any actual drama, and has the cast to back it up, but is content not really making the most of its satirical potential.

I think this failed at whatever it was going after, much in the same way How the West Was Won did. Too long and too much happening for a comedy and just not that interesting.
