Fantastic cinematography and stylized direction with some surprising twists. The script was painfully on the nose in spots, but still a good film. Ricardo Montalban es mas macho.

Part U.S.-Mexico propaganda, part true-crime story this noir film explores the illegal smuggling of Mexican workers to the US during the "bracero" period. The cinematography is excellent, but the film's propaganda portions are a bit much in an otherwise solid film.
