absolutely loved this. amazing score. enough graphic violence to appeal to older audiences. loved Batman's ultimate awesomeness. cannot WAIT for part 2. definitely one of the better batman movies, coming quick off the heels of the great, 'The Dark Knight Rises'. awesome.

It is a near-flawless animated version of Frank Miller's classic tale from the late 80s that spawned the Tim Burton and latest incarnation of Batman. It's long overdue for this story to have been told, though I would have preferred a cinematic version. However, this animated version is reminiscent of the HBO Spawn series, which remains the most underrated animated series ever. Very well done. I look forward to part 2.

Based on the Frank Miller (Author of the Sin City series) 4 part Comics depicting an aging Batman.. By far the BEST animated Batman to date! Can't wait to see parts 2, 3 and 4! Also, very true to the source material!

i was going to buy the comics before watching the movie but i decided to watch the movie instead and this movie was awesome can't wait for part 2
