Delicatessen (1991)

In a post-apocalyptic world, the residents of an apartment above the butcher shop receive an occasional delicacy of meat, something that is in low supply. A movie with great, great sense of both tragical and comical timing. Never have the basic human needs been served with so much jolly cruelty - or cruel jollity ?

Couldn't they at least have made this film in english? Just kidding. Maybe the best film Jeunet has made with or without Caro. Hugely influential piece of cinema.

Rofl when she walks in on him practicing his new set. Amazingly interwoven stories that are dark, funny, depressing, and very, very entertaining. Just when I didn't think it couldn't get any more ridiculous, the troglodytes come into the picture. Awesome movie.
