Possible the only Foreign film i can appreciate. great plot, but extremely sad ending!

once i thought, did i really have a unforggetable memory during my school days, well, i dont. in this film the tendeness and the sweetness is fill in each sence, we see how a friendship was built, how the develop, and how it end tragically. the use of soft colour and nature lence created a gentle feeling on the otherhand it represent the innocent of childhood. the last scene made me weep. definitely a must see. Au Revoir, Les Enfants....

This was one of the greatest movies I have seen in a long time. I watched this in French class this year, and I thought it was great. It's a great look at World War II from French point of view, rather than the American.

My 6th favorite of all time. An achingly beautiful, autobiographical story of friendship. The boys reluctantly become friends when they realize they only have each other. Then the nazis come. You have to cry at the end. If you don't, I'll kick your ass.
