The story was well written and believable. Intense film and I highly recommend it. One of Bernal's best roles.

Fue muy diferente de las otras peliculas que tratan de la sensualidad de los secerdotes. Al principio se puede pensar que Padre Amaro es inocente y quere cambiar la corupcion, pero vimos que su carrera es mas importante de todos y eso es su crimen, no es que estaba con la muchacha Amelia. Es una pelicula genia.
