Armstrong is that rare superhero movie that's better when the hero is off camera.

A little too long, with a drug addiction subplot that is not needed...with a bigger budget this could have worked as a pilot to a good TV show

Armstrong is perfect Friday-night-after-the-pub fodder. It will have you wondering why you are watching it, why you watched it and then crucially - how you somehow enjoyed it.

The film features a talented cast and commendable special effects, and it looks amazing and competently shot, but the unfocused script and severe lack of personality in its characters makes the film nearly impossible for me to recommend.
