A fascinating and unvarnished look into the biggest fraud on 2 wheels.

This documentary could have also called: SAD BUT TRUE.

Darren Ruecker 09 Sep 2013

By embracing contradictions and examining the making of a lie, The Armstrong Lie demonstrates how elusive the truth can be even when the facts are known about a widely recognized figure.

Guy Lodge 05 Sep 2013

At once one of Gibney's most humanly compelling works, and one of his more rhetorically inconsistent.

I think it's probably the most honest Armstrong has been. A hugely informative and amazingly unbelievable documentary that just astounds me as to how he manage to get away with it for so long.
