The true-worthy version of how the facts and real understanding of a nature can give a scratch in what we all believe. Do u believe that Shakespeare was the writer of his novels?! See the movie and there is s big chance u will start thinking the otherwise.

Fine acting & visually stunning. Brilliant art direction & costume design. True, the plot is difficult to follow but it comes together in the end, and we found it engrossing.

Brilliant! Absolutely loved this! Really interesting story and totally seems feasible to me too this version of Shakespeares "life". Great acting, looked beautiful and thoroughly engrossing. Best movie of the year for me so far.

I am writing this review only because I am astonished by some many negative ones from the professional reviewers. If you like great acting, beautiful historic sets, high drama, and enjoy Shakespeare, AND you can enjoy a story without necessarily accepting its premise, then Anonymous is for you. Indeed, I plan to see it again with friends. One of the best movies of the year.

it fails on its own merits as a messy biopic and even messier historical epic whose authenticity becomes irrelevant when its execution is incompetent.
