I really liked this. Of course I've liked every Peter Greenaway film I've seen so that probably doesn't say much. They are just so visually beautiful and so artistically edited that it is a hedonistic pleasure to watch them. Their cryptic plots just add to the pleasure.

i think, that if i understood that old literature stuff, i might really enjoy this movie. good actors, bizarre picturesque visuals. didn't catch me though.
