Tykwer's direction is great, not only in the bang-bang scenes but with the sweeping exterior shots. Clive Owen turns in one of his best performances to date. Armin Mueller-Stahl is terrific, as always. The only disappointment was Naomi Watts. She is a great actress, but in this movie she seemed to rely too much upon the same facial expression. Perhaps that is what the director wanted -- if so, then I think he wasted her talents. Nonetheless, it's well worth seeing.

Not for everyone if you're one of those idiots that were looking for fast paced action flick than do not watch this.This is a very good film for those who are patient with the pace and style of the movie.

Thoroughly engrossing and thrilling, it succeeds where it matters most: intellectually. Sure, the characters do the same action movie cliche things (running up to rooftops to try to escape, thus trapping themselves) but its a movie that demands thought, and Tom Tykwer's impressive use of subtle but engaging visuals ensures that what could have been a bore of a movie ends up being an intriguing thriller

Fabulous film...viewer must pay close attention and know a bit about international banking and global arms sales. Better than the Bond films, better than the Bournes. Gorgeous shots of some gorgeous cities.
