A true story of forgiveness. Although the Amish community did not want this movie to be made, it's given me a deep respect for them and what they did in the aftermath of that disaster.

forgiveness does not mean we forget, but we lift the feelings of anger and grief to God (sometimes, hour by hour)... a good movie.

I'm interested in the Amish and I remember the shooting. this is a good movie but its made for day time tv and isnt the most thrilling film...

With such a sad story that is true, it would be hard not be upset by facts. But the story is told very well and combined with the direction you feel for the main characters and become wrapped up in their lives. I wish I had there strength. A tear jerker that is worth watching. If is sensitively told and this is conveyed in the direction.

One thing I did not understand was why the shooter shot the five girls and let the boys go, they never did explained that. But overall it was a good movie.
