Despite some flaws, it's great to see an adventurous kids' movie based in Ireland. And of course, it's hard not to appreciate a story about a baby elephant and a kid that loves animals.

Poignant drama with believable characters. The film is mostly uplifting, but there are also themes of sadness and tension. However, it's all put together and presented well by writer and director Colin McIvor.

Poignant drama with believable characters, as a group of youths, aided by an animal loving neighbor (Penelope Hilton) try and save a baby elephant during the Belfast Blitz, in 1941. Mixing many heart-warming moments with some sad ones, I thought the movie was engaging and uplifting overall.
