Fabulous film! Sad, beautiful, horrific, sexy....... and gorgeous male actors! Ralph Fiennes (corrrrrrrr!!!!!!) What more could you want in a film?

Before watching the movie, I thought it was going to be adapted like any other books - take out some characters, and take out necessary scences to be replaced with more dramatic, hollywood-type ones. But I was pleasantly surprised that it was almost exactly as the book. The script was perfect, and I love how they didn't take out the beautiful, poetic lines that the characters in the novel say. Great cast, great story, great acting. At the end of the movie, you feel the hope and peace that the characters themselves attain. One of the best films I've ever seen.

One of the greatest movies' I've ever seen, Great acting, great plot and the movie is Beautifully shot. Ralph Fiennes does a great job- and so does Kristen Scott Thomas. But I have to say my Favorite was Julitee Bincoche, she was a real treat in this. I LOVED this movie, they don't make these Classy movies anymore :(

one of the best cheesy movies, ever. the characters are very interesting, the story is great too, the conflicted man is always interesting to me. the passion of the characters is hard to portray but done very well here :)

Absolutely magnificent. Brilliantly filmed, written, and acted. I think, though, that you must be in a particular frame of mind to appreciate this movie on a first viewing. It does, however, get better and better every time you watch it. Has become one of my favorite movies and is most definitely a solid A.
