A surprisingly original story about the talented Chinese young soldiers of Arts department during the 70s and 80s. While depiction of communist propaganda seems at large because it's still a Chinese film, the main story is about those people who are shaped by their surroundings and environments. Rarely does a Chinese film do such an astounding job at character development.

Es entretenida, como es otra cultura es otra forma de ver el amor, y las relaciones intrapersonales. Aprendes de esa cultura y su diciplina militar, sus danzas. La escena de guerra esta muy bien hecha.
