Best film I've seen in a very long time! Everyone should check this out, Robin Williams is amazing!!

It's an odd film, for sure, but the very morbid sense of humor Goldthwait has about us in a society of 'fakers," and a venturesome but juicy performance from Williams make Bobcat's newest feature the most riveting black comedy in ages. Walking over any moral line without any hesitation and exploring the hypocrisies of human nature and defiling the very face of self-gratification, Dad doesn't intend to take any prisoners, rather vilifying anyone that stands in its way, and in its own sickly profound way, it succeeds wickedly. It is nihilistic as it is heart-warming; it is cynical as it is optimistic--- it is Bobcat giving society and the media all the middle finger. By exposing the superficial fabrications of a deceased celebrity, Bobcat assures us all that no matter how inappropriate or disgusting it is to be true, honesty is better than being a self-righteous hypocrite.

The most misleading title, and 45 minutes of film ever made. Worlds greatest dad is a movie not about being a parent, it's about how the world deals with death. How even the scum if the earth will be remembered as heroes once they are gone, This is a movie we all need to see, so we don't go RIP to Amy Winehouse

A really great movie! I loved all the characters in the movie both in a love/hate kind of style. You felt sympathy for Lance then loved him and then hate him which really makes a character like him very interesting and Robin Williams does a superb job at it! So does the rest of the cast, they all played their parts spot on! There was a lot of foreshadowing in the film and I loved it as I wouldn't think much of it then but it would play a big role later. The plot is simple and not really over used like in other films but it really sticks to what it accomplishes. Cinematography is done very well and overall just everything is good about this movie, I really like the music choices they have done for the film as well. Overall a very great disturbing very funny and very emotional film. Great movie!

Very deep esp. Being alone is different than being with people who make you feel alone. Even said suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. Ironically by being deceptive at first, he saved many people.After robin williams suidicide, feels like i keep searching for clues about who he was....the outside world vs. inside, caring about being authentic whether or not people like you, and what does it mean to be a good person.....
