"Testigo de cargo" no muere pese al paso de los aÃ±os (y han pasado bastantes), muy entretenida, para mi la mejor pelicula "de abogados", que se corona con los impredecibles 5 minutos del final. Destaca el humor ingles, tipico de Wilder

An amazing performance by Charles Laughton as the great and very grumpy master barrister Sir Wilfred Robarts. A part well-played to the very end, that alone could have made this movie deserve a high rating. However, the story was also well-told and flowed smoothly with some nicely placed comic relief, all thanks to the great direction of Billy Wilder. And may I add, "Ms. Christie, you create great characters." On a side note, Wilfred Robarts definitely pwned Phoenix Wright as defense attorney... ahem.

Can the old school get more awesome and cunning I mean Who wouldn't want to follow around a "Winston Churchill" type character in adventure of dry english butt kicking. Laughton's performance almost wanted me to become a lawyer of some sort. But Dietrich show the command of what true acting is reminding all audiences how wool over the eyes is really done. Did I also mention you can chalk up another point for Wilder?

Go and rent this movie right now. You will not be disappointed, even before the last 5 minutes. Then the last 5 minutes will double your appreciation. We'll talk afterwards .... Spoiler: "Damn you. DAMN YOU!!"

A classic! I deeply disagree with a teacher who thought this only worked as entertainment on the first viewing.
