Alan Barnes and Diane Holgate are just excellent in their roles...." He's not Jesus ! He's just a fella ! "

This was the first movie I ever saw that had a strong emotional effect on me. I was probably 8 or 9 years old when I first saw it. The story is that some kids find a man who is on the run from the authorities for a murder, hiding in their barn. They come to believe that he is Jesus and try to take care of him and prevent his discovery by the police.

Saw this at the theatre when I was a little girl. Cried buckets. The score is indescribably poignant, the kid actors are amazing. And the northern England vibe gets me where I live. Haven't seen it in years and would love to see it again.
