A good but not great cold war movie set around the British Secret Service which has a plot easy enough to follow and isn't long enough to become laborious.

For a late 80's British spy film, this is up there with the best of them. Wholly recommended.

quite an entertaining espionage thriller with a not over-the-top & plausible plot.

Cracking cold war entertainment. Nigel Havers is convincing as Caine's son and a good solid supporting cast including James Fox, Gordon Jackson and Sir John Geilgud allow this stylish thriller to twist and turn.

Height-of-the-cold-war movie about a 1984-style secret service that actually appears quite realistic.
