Those looking for a story like Spiderman, or Iron Man will leave disappointed, however I don't think we've ever seen a deeper comic book based movie. Without reading the graphic novel prior, I really enjoyed the movie and found it very easy to jump right into an alternate 1985...

I really love this movie. the story is incredible I love how it ends. I love how the characters are moral grey they are morally challenged throughout the movie.

Zack Snyder, don't you take no shit. "Watchmen" is a damn bona fide masterpiece of not only superhero entertainment but cinema in its entirety. Dark, brooding, also warm and caring. A deft balance of rollicking bloody thrills and brilliant social commentary, solidified by a remarkable tonal conjunction of melancholy and contagious hopefulness.
