thought it was visually stunning and great. Nice actor to look at as well!

This is just silly. Pure and utter silly. Seriously, take the Spirit out the whole movie should have been about the Octopus he was just AWESOME. It won't appeal to comic book fans, just people who want to laugh at other people being silly on screen. I can't tell if Samuel L Jackson took it serious or not, but whatever it did he pulled it off amazingly. See it, giggle, and have a silly night in.

Maybe it was because I was expecting a bad movie, but I thought The Spirit was hilarious. I hope people viewing it know it's supposed to be funny. Gabriel Macht's performance is reminiscent of Bruce Campbell and Samuel Jackson is throwing punches and hamming it up for laughs. If you enjoy Sam Raimi flicks (E.g. Army of Darkness), and like the visual stylings of Frank Miller comics, you'll enjoy The Spirit.
