A great, old movie. Has some nudity and blood; not for children. It's a boy-geared action fest.

A superb anime by any standard, especially given its release. Even though it has begun to show some wear due to it being over two decades old, the story is still amazing, and it stands as a testament to the superiority of Japanese anime in storytelling and narration. American animators still have a lot to learn from D.

Hideyuki Kikuchi's mysterious world + wonderful setting and atmosphere + Yoshitaka Amano-sama's character designs + great animations and backgrounds + breath taking story = Vampire Hunter D bloodlust. All times-classic.
