Well i like the details of the hair and characters, Same as the details of the environment. The movie has great sound effects and the characters look very realistic. This movie has amazing facial expressions, You can see that there was a lot of effort put into this movie and that's a good thing. The movements of the zombies are pleasing to see. The only thing kinda off is the mouth movements of chris, they sometime glitch or look really fake. The part where the bodies fell apart freaked me out due to how realistic it seemed. As i've said before, the attention to detail is impressive. The storyline/plot is unique and i enjoyed watching it.

Great Animation, great fighting but the Story sucks. How is a random Character better in Fighting then freaking Chris Redfield? Who at this Point survived the Arklay Mountains, Rockfort Island, Spencer Mention, Africa and China? Who had fights with Wesker, countless Zombies and BOW's and who is pretty much the #1 in the BSAA maybe besides Jill Valentine.

Amazing CGI at times, which is marred by a trope-driven mess of exposition based story which we have seen too many times before, just to end in a continuity destroying mess with a magic boss. Immersion is not possible for more than five minutes when they cannot decide if a weapon has infinite ammo or not, or if it is even going to eject brass.

The film's stilted dialogue, relentless exposition and 'uncanny valley' animated performances prove far more unsettling than the virus-infected ghouls lurking in the shadows.

The first half suffers from a lack of action that thankfully comes later in the film, is definitely aimed for fans of the RE series, but if you like over the top kind of action then you will enjoy it too if you are willing to sit through all the exposition. As a fan of the games this movie is a dream come true because I can finally see my two favorite characters sharing the same story. (Leon driving skills tho)
