I suppose its the best of the "Red bus" British films saw the play many years later. Battersea is now a desireable area

This has a few flaws, it's slightly cliched as borrows elements (such as the back street aborton) from better movies such as 'Alfie'. While you never seem to get to know and understand the main character. That said, this is very well acted (I'm suprised that Adrienne Posta never had a better career as she steals this movie) and the score by Manfred Mann is first rate.

brilliant film & it sort of reminds me of the story of the Buddha in a way.

a look into sixties London, but the grotty every day life, not the Soho bods. pretty dark but excellent.
