What is it about Rob Reiner? He takes the most unlikely scenarios -- a hooker falls in love with a cold-hearted corporate raider -- and turns them into treasure. This is yet another instance where the premise made me go "huh?" when I first read about it. Then at the theater, I found myself wishing I coude vote for this American President.

Great movie! One of Annette Benings best I think. I love the balance this movie promotes in relationships. Just a fun movie too.

this is pretty much one of my favorite movies of all time: i watched it with my parents when i was little and i still watch it now. the plot is yes, rather predictable, but the script is written so well that you find yourself hooked. real, solid political/social message + sweet romance + all those funny moments = an amazing movie.

Another Gem from director Rob Reiner, this love story starring Micheal Douglas and Annette Benning is first class all the way. It never stoops to cheap laughs and has many moments that are too wonderful to go into in this short space. I will say that Micheal J. Foxs' scene where he says that it's the peoples right to question the president is one of my all time favorites. When it came to picking scene work in class, this movie was a go to for Karen and Myself, it's one of our favorites.
