Top Hat (1935)

Showman Jerry Travers is working for producer Horace Hardwick in London. Jerry demonstrates his new dance steps late one night in Horace's hotel room, much to the annoyance of sleeping Dale Tremont below. She goes upstairs to complain and the two are immediately attracted to each other. Complications arise when Dale mistakes Jerry for Horace.

By far my favorite Fred and Ginger movie. This is the movie that inspired to me to learn to dance. This is one of the most awe-inspiring films I've ever had the pleasure of seeing. It's a timeless classic, and it proves that musicals just aren't what they used to be.

Astaire and Rogers are at their best in this superbly scored film. Top Hat and Swing Time are the best films the two ever did together. Cheek to Cheek is one of the most recognized songs in motion picture history. A must see.

Second best Astaire-Rogers film, just slightly lesser than Swing Time. The Cheek to Cheek dance is incredibly sexy.
