Jerry Mulligan is an exuberant American expatriate in Paris trying to make a reputation as a painter. His friend Adam is a struggling concert pianist who's a long time associate of a famous French singer, Henri Baurel. A lonely society woman, Milo Roberts, takes Jerry under her wing and supports him, but is interested in more than his art.

The sumptuous colours, outstanding choreography and toe-tapping tunes are nothing but first-rate.

Seen it a few too many time and still think it's not his best. The kids in my family love the lenghy dance sequences

The finale of this film is magnificent! The final scene of La La Land is affected by it! This is not the whole story. There is a whole lot of big and small ideas that can keep you entertained.

My favorite Gene Kelly movie (which is saying something). Not to mention it has my favorite dance sequence ever, "I've Got Rhythm". And definetly in my top five movies of all time.
