An early Hitchcock romantic thriller film, not the one that will keep you on the edge of your seat but it is still entertaining with an outstanding Nova Pilbeam.

Not many talk about this gem but it's a personal favourite of mine. Also done during his British era, Hitchcock was already making classics before he was a household name.

Standard crime film with a bit of romance. This is certainly not indicative of Hitchcock's future masterpieces, but is a serviceable film for those interested in his lesser known works.

It's an interesting fugitive-on-the-run film, and I liked that Erica doesn't fall instantly in love with Robert. It's more intelligent than what you would get from a lesser director.
