I loved the film even if that's not an Oscar film. I enjoyed it a lot. Alícia did a great job.

Loved it. Not sure why the critics hated it. It was exactly what you would expect from a movie based on a video game. critics seem to all love obscure boring movies just to prove they are artistic and objective... but the fact that they think alike proves they are lemmings completely out of touch with the general public they are supposed to serve. tomb raider never stood a chance with critics.

I'm ready for part 2. This one has a better story line to me than the original. It shows why she became what she is and I believe they could definitely make more. I don't think it did as well in theaters as they wanted but to be honest not a lot of people care to go to a theater to watch. I'd rather wait for it to hit Netflix or Amazon and watch at home. So hopefully the rentals and sales of the film will be high and make them decide to continue with another.

This film is much better than the original version largely due to Alicia Vikander's performance. A thoroughly enjoyable film, go see it.
