Underneath the exotic gloss, it's still the same old song MGM mogul Louis B. Mayer sold us in the 1940s.

Saw this in 2002 when it opend in Sydney, and had forgotten how much it moved me. Watched parts of it again today on SBS, and balled my eyes out again! Beautiful film about the power of love and what it means to be a family.
