Before this entry I was blinded to any knowledge of anorexia nervosa and I'm still stumped about it. It was idealistically intriguing for me in the sense as I got informed on something when I had no idea it was this serious. Lily Collins gave me deja-vu towards Rooney Mara and evoked me to always think it was her which is great since I never thought she could get to the level of Mara, but she achieved it.

One of the most hard hitting movies to watch, the degradation of the human body with bullemics is horrible to witness. It was a great watch, but uncomfortable regardless.

A very, very powerful movie. If everyone makes the effort to see this, there will be a lot more understanding in the world. I never had these particular problems, but an illness did cause similar weight loss, and my perceptions of my own body were warped. Thank you so much, Lily and all involved, for making this movie. I was keening from crying by the time it was over, but I'm really, really glad I watched it.

It is a credit to Noxon and the cast that To the Bone works as well as it does, considering the delicate subject matter.

Delivers exceptional work from Collins, who's finally challenged as an actress, submitting to the part with startlingly gaunt physicality and sharp dramatic response.
