Interesting movie about life and death. Nothing to do with American personal quests and redeeming and redemption.

That's a movie about death and life. It's tragedy and touching, the feeling is simple but engraved on my bones and heart, especially the last scene when the main actor was lying down on the beach to let his life rolled by, and the sunset implied the end of his life. This movie to make me think about if one day, we need to face ours dead, what should we do? how to face? do something meaningful for the last? or waiting...as the main actor. However, i believed the view of life would be change a lot. At last, i love the poster, a guy hold a baby in his arm, it's beautiful and artisitic. The guy should be symbol death and the baby is birth.

Simple story, complex feelings, and well executed. This movie really manages to express the feelings the main character have. On the downside may be the main character is quite unsympathic and hard to get a grip on.

I love how Ozon deal with such a heavy subject - death - so lightly and beautifully. A gay young man, decided to die alone hopelessly, sound romantically sad, yet made me so attached emotionally, I just can't help crying. Great acting is the key in this film.

Romain tinha tudo: uma boa casa, uma relação amorosa estável e um emprego em ascensão. Um dia recebe a notícia de que é portador de um cancro em última fase, ao qual recusa fazer tratamento. Nos seus últimos meses de vida, Romain visita a avó (a única a saber da sua doença), terminha a sua relação (com um último reencontro com o ex-namorado) e aceita a proposta de engravidar uma mulher, cujo marido era infértil. Um filme de temática gay, contudo, com as atenções viradas para a Morte. Sem dúvida um filme a não perder ;)
