Interesting exploitation film from Sweden. Very slow in some parts (par for exploitation films) and some odd special effects. Otherwise a interesting film.

In all the revenge flicks that I have seen, I honestly don't think anyone deserved their revenge more that the poor Madeleine. She really gets fucked over but as the old saying goes "Rvenge is a dish best served cold". How did the sex scenes get past the censors and some of the slow motion are terrible but that aside this is a quality revenge flick.

Whoa... What can be said about this movie? I was expecting low-class exploitation, but that's certainly not what I got. In fact, this is a classy art film with some of the best acting and cinematography I've ever seen. People complain about the whole slo-mo deal, but really, I think it adds a whole lot. As for the xxx scenes, unlike what I've heard, these scenes were completely necessary in portraying cruelty. Without these scenes, the last half hour wouldn't have been near as satisfying. There's something so childlike and angelic about Lindberg. She has to be one of my favorite characters ever. This isn't low-class exploitation, and actually, there isn't much blood. I highly recommend this to anyone who loves film. Not to be missed.

The perfect marriage of artistic expressionism and pure balls-to-the-wall exploitation thrills. Not a perfect film, but a highly enjoyable, interesting watch none the less.

It's definitely a cruel motion picture... And puts the "exploit" into "exploitation". Basically, this normal girl gets forced into prostitution, and one day she decides to get back at her captors. This all works, but what doesn't is the disgusting inserts of hardcore sex, which, this being the 70s, includes alot of fugly-looking penises and vaginas, and it also includes some poopy butt holes. See it if you can stomach that.
