A sad story set in realia which is not unfamiliar to some of us. At first I thought, why bother making a movie like this? People with no prospects waiting for better times to come? So painfully true to life that you don't need a camera, just get out there and see it with your own eyes, because these things do happen on a daily basis - exactly the same images! A difficult movie, it made me drop my criticism for any artistic values as they don't matter anymore, how can they? All you can do is sit and stare... and accept the facts.

he is gifted with an ability to create an opressive atmosphere within no time... he just let's you observe the performers in there dailylife, there fights, there hopes and so on and due to this makes the desperation omnipresent...the little gleams of hope in between are making it even worse.. i liked the ending... their fates keep buzzing in your head since there is no ready-made one...

Hvor finder han de skuespillere fra og er statisterne klar over de er med i en film. Misantropisk, modbydelig, ynkelig og ydmygende, men kan klart anbefales.
