The titular backslash of Import/Export turns out to be a vast geographical schism, crossed only intermittently by thin strands of mutual emotional anguish.

Very depressing and sad film. However, it was very well acted and directed. It will stay with you after you watch this film. Some of the content is not for everyone. The nudity and sexual scenes go beyond the normal non adult film. Very good film.

It's good that people as Ulrich Seidl exist so there is someone who can remind us what no one seems to realize anymore - the world of sunny careless holidays and fancy stores is not really the world we are living in. The reality as it really looks like is shown in his movies.
