The Yellow Sea is a masterpiece which last 45 minutes too much. The last part is nothing but a meaningless butchery. But it's still a good korean movie even if OldBoy or Leady Vengeance are an hundred times better.

After a ruthlessly focused, almost-Hitchcockian first hour, Na’s film fans out into a flabby, multi-stranded gang war and loses all sense of purpose.

A cracker thriller with violence and crime ...says that chaser was not a fluke........

Peter Bradshaw 19 Oct 2011

A deafening explosion of energy, gruesome violence and chaos.
