The director's follow up to the exceptional Korean thriller "The Chaser" is a bleak mystery with unsympathetic characters but like Pusher or Happiness its construction draws you in. An assassination gone wrong sets off a chain of relentless violence and the cracking pace and action set pieces are almost ruined by camera work that would make even Paul Greengrass lose focus. Seriously, what is the point of creating an effect akin to mounting a camera to a washing machine and setting it to the spin cycle? Great performances and the need to know answers prove once again that the Koreans are making the best thrillers at the moment.

More than one viewing necessary to fully comprehend the plot of this drawn out gangster movie but it sure keeps you on your toes. Some excellent chase scenes with excellent cinematography as in the director's debut feature film The Chaser. Another dark and disturbing Korean thriller.

korean movie are very good, i liked this action thriller it was brutal, and lots of blood, lots of killing on old fashion way, big kitchen knifes and hatchets mostly, good good
