Emotional stuff from Mickey Rourke. An excellent film. Marisa Tomei getting the charlies out non-stop aswell. Quality.

The best dialogue and most realistic movie seen to date.

"The only place I get hurt is out there. The world don't give a shit about me." Darren Aronofsky made a phenomenal and fabulous camera technique, implies the footsteps of a former wrestling icon, that's brilliant concept. The Wrestler is simple but powerful highlight about one man scourged by depression and make every second counts in order to respects the last day of his life. The acting is truly remarkable, Rourke, Tomei, and Rachel Wood gives an totality and optimal performances at their career. This is fictional version of Raging Bull, and it means flawless. Modern best sports drama, I'll never forget!!!

Stunning. Gut wrenching. Heart breaking. Beyond acting. Beyond filming. More than a movie. It will leave any human with a soul floored and feeling like their heart was ripped right out of their chest. The only really sad thing is that this low-budget, non-blockbuster movie will never be seen by most and it is Mickey Rourke's triumphant tour-de-force. Like the movie, a once huge star returns from a troubled time for a comeback, but only hollow crowds show up and one of the greatest acting performances in decades may never be seen but by a few. I felt The Wrestler's pain as a movie as I felt Mr. Rourke's pain in life.
