Classic. The ending is fantastic. Could have been shorter but I still say 5 stars.

My favorite....i love the story. It really gives me pictures of how Israeli live outside their land. I can see how the daily relationship between Jewish and God. I love the songs, in some part it reminds me of Psalms. And of course top songs are "Matchmaker....Matchmaker....'' and then 'Traditiooooon.....'' and not to forget 'If i were a rich man' (mix by Gwen Stefani on 2006)

My mum's favourite movie so maybe I always thought I had been brainwashed into liking it. However, I caught it one xmas a few years back and realised this would be a great film without the songs, excellent direction by Jewison. then add in the likes of "Tradition", "If I were a rich man", "Sunrise Sunset", etc. and you have a musical masterpiece.
