This movie teaches women that it's OK if a man breaks a promise to you to play baseball because after all baseball in more inportant than any woman. So, if he gets hurt and cant play anymore you should marry him.

Lame. Story line isn't consistent or easy to follow. I missed the first 20 minutes, but still having a hard time understanding what's happening - distracted by the soundtrack. I could turn this off right now and feel okay with that.

To be sure, this is a somewhat different version of the story of Alex the Great from the one that was solemnly published in his obituaries two years ago.
