In the middle of a routine patrol, officer Daniel Carter happens upon a blood-soaked figure limping down a deserted stretch of road. He rushes the young man to a nearby rural hospital staffed by a skeleton crew, only to discover that patients and personnel are transforming into something inhuman. As the horror intensifies, Carter leads the other survivors on a hellish voyage into the subterranean depths of the hospital in a desperate bid to end the nightmare before it's too late.

Masterpiece! It's not often that movies come along that really push the eerie creep factor. This movie is not trying to hold back in any regard. Whether it be imagination, or gore, or scare factor, it has it all. It's not perfect, however, I think there is so much content and lore that it needed more time to really convey it all. But what it does, it does with a beautiful flare that certain horror masterpieces have, such as Event Horizon, or In the Mouth of Madness.

Group of people hole up in a hospital after being surrounded by hooded goons but inside, there's a doctor who is turning people into monsters and doing something with a postal-y looking thing in the bowels of the hospital.

From beginning to the end , the movie was a surprise , mainly due to the "bizzare" director and weird cast , weird dad from Camp Rock , cliche cops stuff , the acting was okay.. nothing special. I really wanted to like this film - it's dark, weird, surreal - but somehow it's just so mundane and bland. I kept trying to will myself to engage with what I presumed was "really cool" on the screen and yet I felt nothing.

Una cinta que hace recordar a esos filmes de horror de los años 80's, pero la trama se vuelve mas y mas confusa y al terminar la película quedas con cara de WTF porque en realidad no entiendes ni un carajo ni nada de lo demás, es difícil señalar si el argumento es bueno o malo ya que está muy mal planteado que no se entiende casi nada...
