Although predictable and slightly repulsive at times (seems like Beckinsale's character's personal life track is forcefully added to the plot to adjust the runtime of the film), I found it otherwise worth a watch!!!

Excellent, complicated, brutal drama. Part legal procedural, part falling down and recovering crisis, part you'll never guess what's coming. Amazing cast, very good writing... Beckinsale like you've never seen her.

Good movie, would have given it 4 stars if it wasn't for the foul language. The f bomb really wasn't necessary.

Excellent film written and directed by Karen Moncrieff, will have you engaged from start to finish. We have a smart and hotshot attorney (Cate played by Kate Beckinsale) on recovery and placed on probation. In order to be reinstated to the bar and recover custody of her daughter, she must take on the appeal of a woman wrongfully convicted of murder. As Cate examines the case deeper and deeper, she uncovers a sinister police conspiracy. Awesome courtroom drama and interesting. Definitely recommended!
