It was alright, but a bit too long. I think they could have gone more in-depth emotionally while still shortening it a bit.

Something about Kirstie Alley in this movie really rubs me the wrong way. I'm not sure what it is, but she just doesn't seem to fit in. But besides that, I found this to be a great retelling of a story we've all heard a million times and should therefore be uninteresting. It's well acted (mostly), comes across as authentic and believable. This is a subject that has always been of great interest to me, so I really enjoyed this movie.

A decent representation of the tale we all know. If you need a new reason to think religion is retarded.. here it is. The run time is the most grueling part... @ 191 mins, it will certainly blow ur evening.

I thought the acting wasnÂ´t as good as the plot. It was well showed how the puritans scared themselves to believe in witchcraft and so on. Actually better than I expected.
