Cracking hitchcockinan thriller. Great performances from a laconic Elliott Gould and Christopher Plummer as the sadistic thief. Yhe twon engage in a tense game of act and mouse

Good measured heist film with a competent cast is only slightly marred by the inclusion of some unnecessary violence. Obscure film that is worth seeking out.

Elliott Gould (Jew) plays a banker (cliche) and puts himself right in the middle of a bank robbery in an ingenious way. Plummer plays the sadistic thief who wants his money and is damn scary. Top-notch thriller with a clever ending.
