I like this movie so much not because of its fashion theme but because I can relate very much to the work life situation of the main character Andrea who is a college graduate going into her first job and trying to deal and survive in a world she is not fit in - which has a similar situation to my work life back then. Plus this movie has great acting performances from Anne Hathaway, Stanley Tucci and Emily Blunt - all memorable especially Merryl Streep who was a remarkable villain character and showed us here her different side as a great actress. This movie is not an ordinary chick flick as guys will like this movie too because while the story revolves around fashion industry is presents lessons in career growth, self-confidence, relationships and life principles which everyone will like. The story itself is worth watching - entertaining with drama and comedy. This is recommended!

this movie is great, meryl streep is awesome as usual, i loved the character she played, shows you just how cruel and insane the whole fashion industry is

I have to admit, since it was released I have seen it twice on big screen and numerous times on DVD. It's one of those chick flicks which you don't bored out of it and especially if you love fashion, this is the most fashionable movie of all! (other than Breakfast at Tiffany)
