Cute english fantasy movie about secrets and myserys at the Mooncare House. She has to find some magic pearls before the moon raise for the 5000 time or else the hole Moonacre place will be in ruins.

Many family oriented movies these days feature children that are cheeky little bastards who don't do what they're told but it's ok because the people in charge are all doddering old idiots and all children have some magical ability that no one else has. The problem I see with this is that they have much loftier goals to fall from when life beats them down. I mean by the time I was 25 I admit I was displeased that I didn't have a talking car, a furry alien buddy or was a ninja..but I was ok with that. Imagine how hard little Timmy will hit the crack pipe when he finds out not only does HE not have magical powers but that magic doesn't even exist and some english twat somewhere made that shit up to wrench what little inheritance his poor tired parents had for him in the form of licensed memorabilia and expensive little tricks to keep the "magic" alive.

Such a beautiful and heartwarming movie, Gabur Csupo can really direct some great movies and it's a shame that he did only this one and the amazing Bridge To Terabithia because this director has a magic touch and can deliver an entertaing and touching ride with his movies. In this one the main actress is a cute and very talented girl and is the only one who delivers a good performence but still the movie is very good despite many clishes and not so good co- stars, all the credit to the amazing director and to the girl who took this movie and made it magical and great...:)

Wonderful movie! I ABSOLUTELY ADORED IT!! It's set in a most beautiful, breath-taking place, in an exquisite castle with superbe interiors and splendid woods. The special effects are also enthralling and the story catches you . It will definitely remain in my computer as one of my most favourite magical movies ever.
